About the event

Program by Oceanographer and NASA Astrobiologist Dr. Julie Huber and WHOI Deep Sea Biologist Timothy Shank.

The ocean, spanning 70% of the planet, harbors some of Earth’s most extreme environments, yet only around 20% has been explored. Its impact is profound, serving as the linchpin of Earth’s climate system by regulating the weather and sequestering carbon. Join oceanographer Dr. Julie Huber for a discussion on cutting-edge research in these extreme ocean environments.
