About The Seasiders

Giving Back

The Seasiders actively raise funds throughout the season to support local charities.  Since our inception in 1951, the Seasiders have raised and donated approximately $275,000.

The charities that received donations in 2022 included The Lord’s Place, St. Ann’s Place, Jay Ministries, St. George’s Center, New Adult Day Care, Project Lift, Ryan’s Case for Smiles and the Seasiders/Rotary Club (Singer Island) scholarship.

Volunteer Opportunities

The Seasiders offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for members who wish to give back to the community by helping others.

The Seasiders make and donate pillowcases to Ryan’s Case for Smiles. Ryan’s Case for Smiles provides children admitted to the hospital with whimsical pillowcases that offer an emotional boost, and helps with the stress and the emotional impact of illness in the here and now.

St. George's Center and St Ann’s Place are outreach centers that provide a safe place for the homeless and less fortunate. These charities provide a bag lunch every day to the needy residents of Palm Beach County. The Seasiders make sandwiches once a month for each charity and frequently participate in serving the hot meal at St George’s as well.

Our Community Service Group creates a range of crafts to sell at Seasiders fundraisers such as the Bazaar and the Holiday Market. Members enjoy the camaraderie when sorting donations, baking goods to sell and working at the events.

Our Mission

The Club, known as The Seasiders, was formed in 1951 by a group of 5 women to promote the Spirit of Service and Friendship among its members and to stimulate interest in Palm Beach Shores.  The Club raises funds for philanthropic causes.  The Seasiders, generally limited to women who are Palm Beach Shores residents (full time or part time), is non-political and non-profit.
